Misao is the tragic heroine and namesake of a game created with WOLF RPG Editor. The game revolves around her classmate, a girl/boy named Aki attempting to return the school to normal and discover the circumstances surrounding her death.
She is a 'light yandere'.
Bio[]
Appearance[]
Misao is of average size with pale skin and sad yellow eyes. Her dark indigo hair is about shoulder-chest length with so much pulled back on each side, held in a ponytail. She normally wears the pink and white school uniform. As a child, she was shown wearing cool colored outfits.
Personality[]
Misao is cute and friendly, but because of her quietness and gloomy atmosphere, she usually repelled others and they saw her as being hard to approach. She is very shy and becomes dependent on those who show her genuine kindness, but she also tries to independently stand up for herself if pushed enough.
After her death she became a temperamental, vengeful spirit determined to punish everyone who got in her way, tortured her, or were too stupid to think before they did anything. But once Aki calmed her down and saved the tortured spirits of everyone who was killed, she befriended her/him and returned to normal.
Background[]
As a little girl, Misao befriended Kudoh, who went out of his way to make her feel better whenever she was sad and lonely. But he began to pull apart from her during middle school, because at this stage it wasn't common for boys and girls to hang out, and after she confronted him on this, he coldly told her off and began to avoid her for the sake of the other guys, who picked on him a little because of their bond.
The game starts with Aki preparing for school and thinking about Misao, who vanished about three months prior. Lately people were spreading rumors and making jokes, saying she was killed and a curse had been put onto the school, which nobody believed until an earthquake occurred. Aki awakens to discover a now hellish version of their school, filled with injured and frightened students, traps, and monsters.

As a spirit Misao was able to manipulate the school in its new setting. She didn't use any specific weapon, but was most-likely the one triggering the various death traps.

Tohma - They dated for a short time after he suddenly confessed to liking her, but he was still seeing his original girlfriend behind her back. While he was deceptive this way and it's not possible to tell if his feelings for her were genuine or not, he was genuinely remorseful after finding out what happened to her. Her yandere traits came out around him after she became a vengeful spirit and she intended on having him kept alive, but trapped with her in this other world.
Yoshino - She was indirectly the cause of Misao's death, and she seems to feel no empathy for her having disappeared. It's strongly suggested that she mainly picked on Misao because of her own feelings for Tohma.
Kudoh - He has felt extreme guilt over abandoning Misao the way he did, especially given how poorly she was treated and how he did nothing to stop it like he would have in the past. He cared about her a lot, mainly like a big brother would a sister. But it's common theory that he had feelings for her.
Mr. Sohta - They have very similar backgrounds -being bullied and having shy dispositions- and he was very fond of Misao, to the point of being attracted to her. She respected her Teacher and went to him for support following the incident when he discovered her having been stripped in the restroom, but when he became too close she was uncomfortable.
Aki - Due to her kindness and their past interactions Misao seemed to like Aki. Aki was saddened over not getting the chance to befriend Misao following the time she helped her locate her missing contact, and she feels nothing but empathy for the poor girl.
Death[]
Unlike most cases, the series is about her death, which occurred after a long, painful chain of events that started some months prior to the game. Yoshina revealed to the entire class that Misao had a crush on Tohma, and to their surprise he claimed to feel the same way about her, telling off Yoshino and suggesting they begin to date.
Misao was the happiest she had been in a long time. Not only did it give her some confidence, but it seemed to decrease the bullying a little; she even decided to thank Yoshino for bringing them together indirectly. But after responding to a text from Tohma, she later discovered the mushy, love-filled response she sent back to him had been posted at school, causing her to become a laughing stock. She later found Saotome and Tohma flirting with each other in an empty classroom, causing her to believe his prior girlfriend had something to do with it.
The bullying resumed, and in the restroom one day Yoshino and her posse proceeded to beat her up, strip her, cover her in paint, and take photographs as blackmail to force a male classmate into raping Misao. Evening came and he left, where she cried until Mr. Sohta overheard her and came to investigate. He scolded her and brought her back to the office, where she breaks down and confesses everything that happened. He attempted to comfort her by bringing up how kind and smart she is- most-likely unaware of the rape she had been put through, and claims to understand how she feels. He brought up his own, similar past, but in the process began making advances on her, causing her to become frightened and try to escape. She continued rejecting him after being cornered, which caused him to snap and kill her in rage. He brings her corpse back to the bathroom and dismembered it to hide the evidence.

- Misao is one of the only female Yandere dead prior to their series.
- As such, she is also one of the few lacking an optional death scene, a scenario common in most visual novels or dating sims.
- Before the game received a big update, it was Misao's body parts the Player had to collect. Afterwards, it became very items, such as her cell phone.
